How can I repay the Lord for all the good he has done for me?
A Message from Our Pastor
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
How blessed are we to be able to walk this earthly pilgrimage with one another as members of the ONE Catholic Community! No matter what may be happening around us, our Parishes of Holy Family, Holy Trinity and St. Mary’s are our safe haven. These are the places where we come together, united at the Eucharistic table, to worship and serve our Lord Jesus.
Our Parishes are also the place where we serve one another. Here, united in God’s love, we are a visible sign of the body of Christ and together we can accomplish amazing things. Nourished by prayer and the sacraments, members of our parish community are on the path of discipleship and growing in relationship with Jesus Christ each day. We value formation in the faith and sharing our faith with others through evangelization. We also know the importance of bringing the love of God to our neighbors through acts of charity and service. Through our many activities and ministries, and our social and service-oriented outreach programs, we put into action the truth stated so eloquently by St. John the Apostle: “If God so loved us, we also must love one another” (1 Jn 4:11).
With this in mind, and as a part of our Community’s commitment to live Stewardship as a way of life, I invite you to respond to this special stewardship of treasure initiative: How can I repay the Lord for all the good he has done for me? Please review the contents of this brochure and prayerfully consider how you and your family can play an active role in continuing the work of Jesus Christ by supporting your parish community. Our goal is to increase our Sunday offertory contributions so that we can expand our mission to bring Jesus Christ to as many people as possible. This is no easy task in today’s climate, but I am confident that our dedicated parishioners are up to the challenge.
On June 13 & 14, each Parish will be holding a special Commitment Weekend, inviting members of our community to come together and make a financial commitment that will allow ONE Catholic to continue its important work. We are counting on you! By participating in this special stewardship of treasure initiative - “How can I repay the Lord for all the good he has done for me?” - we will respond together to God’s generosity and the generosity of generations who’ve gone before us, in order to build up and sustain for the long-term what we have freely received: namely, our wonderful ONE Catholic Parishes!
Our Parishes are the center of our communities, because Jesus is the center of our lives. Thank you for your generosity, prayers, and commitment to our ONE Catholic Community!
Sincerely in Christ,
Fr. Mark Noonan
